With the mission to make VR more accessible to designers at Pratt, we’ve been developing pathways for students to strengthen their relationship with tools like VR in their own creative process. Last year, we launched the VR Starter Kit with the Communications Design department, the first holistic VR resource of its kind at Pratt. This year, we focused on developing more advanced on-demand tutorials for students interested in diving deeper into designing with VR.

The mission to make VR more accessible to creatives and the neurodiverse student body at Pratt continues. While we’ve already introduced over 80 students to what VR can do for designers, this work is not done. Our four (4) posters show how far VR at Pratt has come, where we are today, and where we might be going next. Come to the poster room and vote on ways you would like VR to expand at Pratt.
