Have you ever heard a very catchy song playing at the cafe or at the mall? Have you found it difficult trying to get Shazam working on Snapchat or trying your best to commit the lyrics to memory so you can search it up later? It can quickly become very frustrating to identify new songs.

Our team designed an Apple Watch feature to help users discover and identify new music they may encounter at parties, coffee shops, and more. By giving users the option to synchronize their Apple Watch biometric data with Amazon Music, the streaming service can detect when users begin to bop or dance to a new song. Users then receive a notification on their Apple Watch asking if they would like the song to be identified. If users choose to identify the song, Amazon Music listens to the song and provides the user with the song title and artist as well as synchronized real-time lyrics. Our goal is to create an effortless experience to connect users to new music as they go about their busy days.
