Deaf people often feel invisible and voiceless in a hearing world. The constant deluge of demanding visual information is an obstacle in daily life, wearing out the eyes and the brain. Often left out of dialogue, restricted in education, missing information everywhere. Design for deaf accessibility aims to increase awareness and to contribute significantly towards successful universal design and accessibility.
Radhika Mehra is UX/ UI designer and artist, who uses visual intuitive and user experience design to create products and services in aiding social cause and advocating accessibility. She is presently enrolled in Pratt Institute’s M.S. in Information Experience Design Program.
