We developed a fully interactive prototype for a new Pratt SILS website to meet the information needs of top users: prospective students, current students, and alumni.

After several months of user research, including observations, card sorts, and developing personas and user flows, we identified one uniting need among all users. Everyone who uses the website wants to find information that will help them get a (better) job in the field. This prototype offers users an efficient and hopefully enticing way to find that information.

During user testing, we also learned that many were confused about how to navigate the site nestled inside the greater Pratt.edu presence. We strove to create a unique look for the SILS program site, setting it apart from the main Pratt website, both in navigation and identity. Our prototype highlights the work done by faculty and students, the variety of course offerings and concentrations, and our own pride in being part of the Pratt SILS program.

Please explore our prototype and let us know what you think.
