This project website is the final product of a semester-long group project by the design team, The Desk Set (Erin Lee Barsan, Yulia Lazarev, Jillian Lazaridis & Rachel Smiley). The team worked together to redesign the website of the Grolier Club by applying the principles of User-Centered Design. The outcome of the project is a summary and reflection on each of the website’s components in the iterative design process. These components include beginning with an inventory of the existing Grolier Club website, completing a competitive analysis of the websites of similar institutions, and conducting a variety of user research. The process culminated in the creation of a high-fidelity digital wireframe of the redesign, which is also accessible from the project website.
