Participate in and explore GenAI research with a multidisciplinary group of graduate students from Dr. Irene Lopatovska’s Human-Centered Research Design course (INFO 630)! This semester, we have been conducting a study on student attitudes, behaviors, and mental models related to generative AI. Our research explores the paradox between societal concerns around GenAI and its growing practical use in academic life (currently in the coding phase, aiming to publish findings this summer). At InfoShow, we will present our research process and preliminary insights, and engage the audience in a fun design activity. This interactive session will spark conversation around your own experiences and perspectives on GenAI, helping shape a more informed and inclusive dialogue on its role in education.
