At Pratt Institute Libraries we collected and analyzed Interlibrary Loan data from the year 2020 through 2022. The objective of the project was to study Interlibrary loan patterns & items that were requested multiple times by our patrons. For this project, we used OpenRefine to clean the data and we used Google Sheets to analyze & visualize the ILL data. We learned how different departments utilize Interlibrary loan services through Pratt Institute Libraries. At the conclusion of this project, we shared our findings with faculty librarians to inform their decisions with regards to acquisitions & collection development.
