My fellowship for the 2022-2023 school year was at the LGBT Center archive, working on a Mellon grant funded Community Archiving and Preservation (CAP) project focused on working with queer community organizations in New York on the creation of their own archives, without the expectation of donation to a larger institution. This project is a poster about my experience on that project and what we did during my time in the role as well as why community archiving is important to the profession and something I am passionate about.
