This poster points out structural inequities, passive neutrality, and colonial bias in knowledge organization as it relates to Indigenous ways of knowing and uses Marisa Elena Duarte and Miranda Belarde-Lewis’s essay “Imagining: Creating Spaces for Indigenous Ontologies” as a framework for thinking through the three case studies presented.
