One main reason UX professionals use AI is for generating user test questions, tasks, and scenarios. A big part of UXR is knowing how to ask the right questions. Under the same project scope, I prompt ChatGPT to create a usability test script and compare it to my own human-made script.

Shelly Guan is a graduate student pursuing her M.S. in Information Experience Design at Pratt Institute’s School of Information. Previously, she taught English and lived in South Korea for six years. Her time abroad, as well as being born and raised in NYC, has taught her to be flexible, empathetic, and always curious.
