De is a graduate student at Pratt Institute School of Information, pursuing a degree in Data Analytics and Visualization. Her background is in engineering and business. She has been working in developing interactive courseware and operating MOOC platform. She sees the value of bringing knowledge to students, as well as information to stakeholders, for decision making, which will be even better in a visualized shortcut. She also believes that as we develop visualization, physical representation stands out even more.
Six students in Professor Sula’s Information Visualization class analyzed two datasets concerning the environmental quality of the Bronx River provided by the Bronx River Alliance (BxRA). A large-scale poster was created for the BxRA to display in their new headquarters.
