AI tools, whether it be ChatGPT or predictive text, pose a problem for the educational and working environments that employ them. Either help to cultivate richer cooperation between us and our work, or feeding into the algorithm becomes the work itself.  In this presentation I will explore how the “machine learning” technology that AI is based on will be key to a conducive relationship with our tools. Select studies have shown that the use of AI technology in classrooms can not only strengthen enthusiasm for learning but increase attention spans overall. Although the opposite has certainly borne true as well, I intend to strike at the difference in these cases and emphasize this rift as a way forward.
