The model includes five primary characteristics, or dimensions:<\/span><\/em>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><em><b>Agreeableness<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> is a person&#8217;s tendency to be compassionate and cooperative toward others.<\/span><\/em><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><em><b>Conscientiousness<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> is a person&#8217;s tendency to act in an organized or thoughtful way.<\/span><\/em><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><em><b>Extraversion<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> is a person&#8217;s tendency to seek stimulation in the company of others.<\/span><\/em><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><em><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Emotional Range, also referred to as <\/span><b>Neuroticism<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> or Natural Reactions, is the extent to which a person&#8217;s emotions are sensitive to the person&#8217;s environment.<\/span><\/em><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><em><b>Openness<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> is the extent to which a person is open to experiencing a variety of activities.<\/span><\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><em><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Each of these top-level dimensions has six facets that further characterize an individual according to the dimension.<\/span><\/em><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><em><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Needs describe which aspects of a product will resonate with a person. The model includes twelve characteristic needs: <\/span><b>Excitement<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, <\/span><b>Harmony<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, <\/span><b>Curiosity<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, <\/span><b>Ideal<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, <\/span><b>Closeness<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, <\/span><b>Self-expression<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, <\/span><b>Liberty<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, <\/span><b>Love<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, <\/span><b>Practicality<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, <\/span><b>Stability<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, <\/span><b>Challenge<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, and <\/span><b>Structure<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">.<\/span><\/em><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><em><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Values describe motivating factors that influence a person&#8217;s decision making. The model includes five dimensions of human values: <\/span><b>Self-transcendence \/ Helping others<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, <\/span><b>Conservation \/ Tradition<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, <\/span><b>Hedonism \/ Taking pleasure in life<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, <\/span><b>Self-enhancement \/ Achieving success<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, and <\/span><b>Open to change \/ Excitement<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">.<\/span><\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Sentiments in a document are ranked on their absence or presence on a scale of -1 to 1, with 0 representing the average sentiment in the IBM Watson Personality Insights baseline.
