{"id":8424,"date":"2023-05-01T19:00:45","date_gmt":"2023-05-01T19:00:45","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/studentwork.prattsi.org\/infoshow\/?p=8424"},"modified":"2023-05-09T15:43:40","modified_gmt":"2023-05-09T15:43:40","slug":"designing-supportive-conversational-agents-with-and-for-teens","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/studentwork.prattsi.org\/infoshow\/2023\/designing-supportive-conversational-agents-with-and-for-teens","title":{"rendered":"Designing Supportive Conversational Agents With and For Teens"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>This co-authored short paper and poster by Pratt Associate Professor Irene Lopatovska and Jessika Davis, MS Museums &amp; Digital Culture &#8217;23, was accepted and presented at the 2023 ACM&nbsp; SIGIR Conference on Human Information Interaction and Retrieval (CHIIR) held March 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Utilizing data originally collected during the INFO-630 Research Design &amp; Methods FA 2021 class, this research\u00a0explored the potential of conversational agents (CAs) to support adolescents (also referred to as teens) during emotionally difficult times.
