The goal of this website is to provide a set of written or recorded (video or audio) instructional posts covering tools that digital humanists might find of value, regardless of their field or institution. Student-created instructional posts may do one or more of the following:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>teach beginners an important, useful, or interesting technology skill;<\/li>\n<li>explain how software\/tools can be used for a specific purpose;<\/li>\n<li>present a template\/recipe for a particular type of DH study<\/li>\n<li>compare\/review existing resources;<\/li>\n<li>explain the methodology behind a tool or technique, etc.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>This talk explains what a skillshare is and presents the <a href=\"http:\/\/dhskillshare.prattsils.org\">first round of posts from Spring 2013<\/a>.<\/p>\n<div style=\"margin-bottom: 5px\"><strong> <a title=\"Digital Humanities Skillshare\" href=\"http:\/\/www.slideshare.net\/nwhysel\/digital-humanities-skillshare\" target=\"_blank\">Digital Humanities Skillshare<\/a> <\/strong> from <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.slideshare.net\/nwhysel\" target=\"_blank\">Noreen Whysel<\/a><\/strong><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>DH Skillshare is an open-access knowledge resource for digital humanists.
