The video highlights the location-based nature of the program, its pedagogical function&#8211;including how Brooklyn Connections works with classroom teachers&#8211;and how the program outcomes map to the common core. We also include footage of a Brooklyn Connections class, so that educators can see what the program looks like in practice.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Brooklyn Connections PSA is a short video designed to encourage teachers to participate in the Brooklyn Connections program at Brooklyn Public Library with their classes.
