The process of querying linked open data resources to create a mash-up of gender information for our list is described, and how dataset creation combined with LOD methods can help promote materials in archives and assist digital humanities research.<\/p>\n<p>Another project worked with metadata from Tulane\u2019s Hogan Jazz Archive Photography Collection, using Open Refine and Python scripts to create RDF triples describing historical images.<\/p>\n<p>We are also working on mapping discography data from various jazz databases.
