The data was harvested, converted to linked data format, and combined with additional sources, then visualized graphically. Our goal is to reveal patterns in the expansion of printing throughout the Western world and provide serendipitous discovery of new information through hidden relationships. It is our hope that this tool will facilitate new research and increased access to these rare materials.

Linked Incunables is a scholarly tool that provides geospatial referencing for works from the incunabular period (ca. 1455-1501) of early European printing by converting catalog information from the New York Public Library’s Rare Book Division into linked data format.

[2
96,56,97,98,99,100

post-226","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-2","tag-drupal","tag-linked-data","tag-python","tag-rare-books","tag-rdf","tag-sparql
["GET
