How to Navigate the Project:
To navigate this project, first, hover over the category you choose. In this case, the “processes and techniques” category is shown.
Each bar represents a subject term within the categories. In this instance, the term shown is “library bindings.”
Now, with a term of your choosing, in some instances, you will see how that term could also be defined in the Open Artist Books thesaurus. The primary term could also be categorized by other names.
When hovering over the term, the Getty Art & Architecture Thesaurus definition of the term appears (if applicable, as not all terms have their own definitions). You will then know what the term is about and what it does.
Finally, you can also click on the definition, which will lead you to an index with the subject term definition, the definition of Open Artist Books (if applicable), and a URL that will take you to the Getty Art & Architecture Thesaurus. If, at any point, you decide to go back to any stop, the arrow button is at the upper right corner of the screen.
Curious about any of the terms used on this page?
Check out our site index which includes basic definitions of some of the concepts we reference.
